MOSTA FC 2 BIRKIRKARA FC 3 (ht 1-1)
The Molsta Under-17 team started their League commitments today with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Birkirkara at the St. Aloysius Ground.
The Blues deserved much better from this match after a good performance. New signing McKAY gave Mosta the lead. Birkirkara equalized to send the teams level at half-time.
CLAYTON BORG restored Mosta's lead, but a Birkirkara one-two saw the Blues suffer an undeserved 3-2 defeat,
